Welcome to the 34th IEA-EOR Conference in Stavanger, Norway!
The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) located in Stavanger, Norway, is very pleased to be the coordinator for the Workshop and Symposium to be held here on September 8 - 12, 2013.
Please find all activities, themes, papertitles and speakers in the program v.06.09.13 (subject to change).
The first two days of the event will be dedicated to the latest results in EOR, the third day is a symposium about the topic of “From lab to field”. From conferences around the world and from the academia we hear about interesting findings concerning techniques for enhanced oil recovery. But we do not see the techniques tested out in field scale offshore. The Symposium will be presenting projects actually put out in the field emphasizing the obstacles along the way. We are also inviting the local industry to participate in the Symposium and look very much forward to the presentations and discussions.
The conference itself takes place at Radisson Blu Hotel Atlantic in the middle of the city of Stavanger Monday September 9th and Tuesday the 10th, and is followed on the 11th by the Symposium taking place at NPD's premises. For information and booking, see here.
A final-day proposed sightseeing will be available on September 12th: A guided tour by boat and bus visiting the Lysefjorden giving views of the spectacular Pulpit rock.
Registration is available here. The price is NOK 7000,- pr participant (ca.$1200/€930) This includes 3 lunches, 2 tapas meals, 1 buffet and 1 barbeque. It also includes afternoon/evening activities with transportation and more.
You can also choose to only participate at the Symposium at NPD premises Wednesday 11.09, the price is NOK 3500,- (ca.$650/€465). For this option, please use the scroll bar at the registration page.
